Transmedia-blog I have created posters that were based on a play we have seen that highlights some of the local heroes that had impact and which we might have forgotten about i.e. Constance Lytton. In addition, it was important to link those ideologies together meaning that in order to create an engaging campaign this was done as we have come up with an idea to create a one website for which gives demographic a choice of choosing a Constance Lytton website or Jane Warton website. There is a clear distinction between each website because on Lady Constance website the language that she uses is more formal and the content you would see on the webpage would be what you expect from the lady whereas Jane Warton website is less formal, more simple and gives her a chance to speak out without a fear of being punished. Furthermore, in order to create the campaign more interactive we have applied digital ideologies for example by using QR codes in the poster this means that the poster is mor...

At first we have made a campaign about Constance Lytton and how she would promote what she was promoting in 1900s, being a suffragette. The poster includes a colour palette of a suffragette flag meaning that following group will gather intertextual link. Furthermore, there are many versions of the poster that represent similar ideologies i.e. Fist and microphone these are crucial because in 1900s women were not able to speak freely. In addition, it was important to include hashtag in our campaign to make it more popular quicker and make it viral this is because majority of campaigns do have such hashtags First poster I have made was based around the inspiration of Hope poster of Barack Obama and later on Hillary Clinton which parodied Obama I have tried to make this version of a poster this is because it is political propaganda that relates to the topic of Constance Lytton as she was fighting with the government in order to gain the rights. However during ...

Later, on we have decided to create a campaign about Arab Springs and to promote women's rights that women don't have in such places suggesting that we are being multicultural and open minded when it comes to other opinions. Furthermore, from the poster above you can tell that there have been multiple versions of the poster this is because I was experimenting what was working and what was not. As well as it is evident that the background makes up a flag of United Arab Emirates suggesting that it will subconsciously target people from these areas. This is important because it grabs their attention straight away. Furthermore, to highlight local area I have included text in Arabic this is so people from local area that might not speak English would be able to understand it as well it makes them feel more unique and special as the poster is targeted towards them because it is written in their native "home" language. As well as, I have received fee...

Research In the beginning of the project we have decided onto which character we will base our campaign on and then turn in into the transmedia project. We have decided that we will choose Constance Lytton who was a balloonist and have been an important figure in the 1900s. Meaning that people that live locally and know some history about the area might recognize her. Furthermore, to make the campaign more interesting we have chosen to do two website versions where one would be a blog and second one would be a website which may reflect ideologies that website is more associated with being posh or from the higher level in hierarchy which would be about Lady Constance whereas blog would about Jane Warton her second identity that she had when she was a suffragette. There would be a distinction between both websites because on one Lady Constance would write in Formal language and it would contain what you would expect to see/hear from the lady which might not neccesarily be her own tho...
